Collegiate Scholars Alumni Reunion
We at CSP are planning an Alumni Reunion to take place on June 22, 2010 in honor of the college graduation of the inaugural CSP class of 2006!If you would like to learn more about plans for the reunion, please visit the reunion site. Academic Year Policies
1. All Collegiate Scholars are required to fulfill the following event/workshop requirements between October 2007 and March 2008:
a. 2 Arts/Culture
b. 2 Lectures
c. 2 Social Events
d. 1 Community Service
e. Any Mandatory Workshops• The Lecture requirements include a one-page (300-500 words) synopsis that must be turned in within two weeks of the lecture. Each Friday, scholars will be informed through their UChicago email of upcoming lectures they can attend.
• Mandatory College Workshops will be offered during the fall specifically for each class. Please check the Calendar of Events to determine which workshops are mandatory for your class. In addition, scholars are encouraged to attend college informational sessions, tours and career exploration events even though these events are not mandatory.
Absence Policy
• There are two ways in which a scholar may be excused from an event:
1. a phone call from a parent/ guardian at least 4 business days before the scheduled event, or
2. a phone call prior to the event notifying the office that the scholar is sick.
• If a scholar cancels or misses an event, then it is his or her responsibility to sign up for another event.
